I did a headlight restoration (many, many posts on headlight restoration) . In the past did one of the "kits", wasn't happen with results (it was not the 3m). This time did hand wet sanding, started with grit 300, 400, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500. buffed with polishing compound, then wax. Came out FANTASTIC, from junk to almost new looking. Now that I can see through the lens, couldn't understand what the amber flakes inside were - figured it out!

My bulbs were original,10 years old.
