Never paid attention to those 20sec but it's more like 5 -7 seconds once you turn it on.gotta see if those 20 sec unlock thing actually work; I'm on my way in the garage
EDIT:If you leave the car, it stays on sleep mode for 20 min.
If you return to the car in that time frame the unit will be already up and running when you turn the ignition on;
