I'm not the one that brought up that the owner's manual says lifetime fluid, while the service schedule says to change it at 100K, either. In fact, it's the title of the thread. Apparently at least that person agrees that clarification is needed. And I don't think it's unreasonable for consumers to expect that. Also, there are folks here that are saying that by lifetime BMW means 100K. They can do that, because BMW apparently doesn't have a simple paragraph or two that defines and explains their exact position. But for some of you, it's click your heels, salute the BMW flag, nothing they do can ever be questioned in any way.
