yeah but is it the regulator or is it the motor thats clicking is what I'm trying to figure out?

if the motor has a plastic drive gear then that could be stripped causing the clicking at the regulator junction. I dont see how a metal cable could make that noise unless the end pieces its attached to are plastic and stripped. I'll know more by the end of this weekend though thats for sure lol.

edit: hmm looking online it looks like the window motor has plastic teeth on it.

pretty sure I'll see those stripped off when I take the door panel off...
