I heard that you can swap out your existing dish & receivers for new 5LNB equipment via rebates (wtih possibility of making a little extra). However, I'm not sure if this would cover equipment that you do NOT get from DirecTV, which I hope is not the case.

The only downside to upgrading is that the new equipment that DirecTV will offer is their own and doesn't have Tivo!!! That makes me wanna wait a while.
