Nice work. I'd love some beginner's discussion on this. I have had the climate comfort windscreen in my 2000 E39 with all the right hardware bits for nearly 10 years. I have never gotten past connecting the hardware. My auto lights do not work and neither do my auto sensing wipers. (not that I drive it in the rain).
I would sure appreciate a step 1) buy a computer type discussion.
