I would have been tempted to fly to Phoenix and drive it back, taking the opportunity to see the country a bit. The trade in for a Camry does seem strange, but then I've made some strange changes, myself. I was driving an F350 7.3L diesel 4x4 and a Mercedes SLK [both stick shifts] when I got my X5. Its half-way between those two [sorta ....]
