BTW, the guy who repaired my rims said use only soap and water for cleaning and no need to apply a wax. Anyone follow this advice? I read somewhere that Motegi Wheel Wax is good.

To the other poster^^.. try telling your wife to walk or ride the bike cuz you're afraid she might scratch your wheels.You'd be writing a totally different kind of book
As for the wax, it's totally safe.Much easier to keep the wheels cleaner in between washes.
