omodos is on a distinguished road
hello, testing for draw as Powers 1 mentioned, 16mins x5 should go to sleep, no need to sit in the car just don’t close the passenger side door, so you have access to the glove box fuses later, don’t engage locks though at any point or you’ll wake x5, and at the rear engage the tailgate lock….then start testing after 16mins or less.

I am guessing if the orange Light near the gearshift is off then the X5 is asleep so start when that goes off.Well my X5 has 90,000km and yup love hate! It was 10 years old 2 days ago….and yes for a high end car there are too many niggly irritations…i have posted 1000 time son the forum1let us know how it goes with the fsr and if you had any symptoms of it going bad….in mine I have not noticed or heard any tell signs that mine is bad i.e humming noise fan makes in aircon control area after car sleeps, although I have blown my multitmeter I think, so cant test amp draw on fuse 64 that’s the fsr fuse!

I have pulled the cd changer fuse and the telephone fuse (even though don’t have phone) and will remove the connections to my auxiliary heater too cos it is just tooooo warm out here to be needed, failing that could by the gps tracker that previous owner had installed in 2006 may have gone wrong causing drain but cannot find it! Am hoping company who installed will tell me where it is….sorry to hi-jack post
