I had occasion to talk to these people this summer in Calgary in regards to their ability to recode my ABS Module if I had to go for a rebuilt or new- and yes they have the software to check and recode for my 2001 X5. The front end girl had more knowledge than the dunderheads at the dealer. Might be worth a phone call to see if they might be able to help you out.
