Sterling - I don't know about the '06, but I have had the same experience on my '05 4.4. Most of the time it is very slight. A couple of times it was so bad I thought someone rear ended me. I've experienced this before and i have a 03 3.0 and i took it in for them to fix it, also mine sometimes in the morning struggles or hesitates to get into first gear ? and when driving it is jerky especially when down shifting from 5 to 4 and upshipit from 4 to 5 it like lags to shift and its sometimes i hear the thud when it shifts
so well see this monday if its been fixed or not.
