Minky is on a distinguished road
Hi. I have a bit more info that I should have probably mentioned. I plugged it into a Delphi scanner and it is making the correct fuel pressure when cranking but there is absolutely no smoking from the exhaust so I'm thinking the injectors aren't operating. There are a lot of historic fault codes but the ones for the immobiliser system are:
Immobiliser (Immobiliser - CAS (Car Access system ))
DTC Description
A0B1 - Input gear selector
- Signal missing or faulty
- Intermittent
A0B4 - Starter motor, starter operation
-
- Permanent

Then there are a couple of others:
41AB - Boost pressure sensor
- Permanent

4000 - Fuel temperature sensor; implausible signal
- Permanent

These codes may be due to faulty sensors but i think it should still start.
One other thing that shows up on the dash screen is a low oil level warning which doesn't go away even when the dip stick is showing slightly overfull.
Thanks again, Mark.
