Thanks. My mechanic told me the codes he found last week didn't point to anything specific. I have had European cars and OBDII equipped cars for quite sometime so I am very familiar with codes in the system and needing manufacturer specific scanning equipment to read certain factory codes. I did purchase the Bavarian Technic kit but I have been very disappointed with the functions available. Also a lot of the codes that I have come across, this software can see it but can not tell me what the code is. I have even updated the software. So I have to go to my mechanic cause he has the proper scanning equipment to read the BMW specific codes. The BT kit can barely tell me anything more than my universal OBDII scanner can. Sad.
