On all the other cars I have worked on, you could just find a electrical wiring diagram and trace the component wires through the car to see what other systems it interacts with, or at the very least, test the wires from the sensor, back to the ECU, so you can see if you have a bad wire or a short somewhere along the way.

I cannot seem to find one of these yet. Thats why I consulted this wonderful forum. I was hoping that someone could either confirm that the eccentric shaft sensor could be related to this code, had experience or suggestions on other things I should be looking at, or could provide me with a link to a wiring diagram for the engine.
