My rear washer stopped working back in the summer so finally after searching on here I took screen wash tank apart, cleaned the little filters in each pump (they were dirty but not blocked) then swapped pumps over and both front and rear pumps work fine so I'm wondering where the water goes (if anywhere) when the rear washer is activated. I got a pressure washer and sprayed it in the rear window washer nozzle from the outside whilst all was disconnected and try to push everything back through to the tank but nothing came out tank end.

Does this sound like a solid blockage in the nozzle - I have tried to get at the nozzle but can't find how to get to it or how to release it.

I have heard of later model (E70's?) where a connection in the pipework comes loose and needs the front seats removing to re-connect - is there anything like this on E53's?
