I had to replace mine too. Only one was leaking (I think it was the middle one as well), but I actually ended up replacing both since like you probably noticed get there is a royal pain in the ass...

Just like you, in a futile attempt to figure out if I could fix it, I ended up releasing the bolts holding the fender. With small enough hands you can actually unplug the pumps without... But maybe I'm just saying that since I've done it already.
