OK. I get how it could happen in your pocket. That happened to me once in the early days with my E39. Since then, I keep my car key separate from my house keys. I just use the single key in my ignition. This is also nice because I usually leave my house and office keys in the car and I don't have to jingle jangle around with them in my pocket. I need them at home, so they come with me inside. Easy peasy.
But that's not what I was asking about. The person I questioned said to be careful
while driving. THAT I (still) cannot see.
