If I was a betting man I would say that the person's account on ebay got spoofed and someone just used that person account. It happened to me about a year ago. I got a email from ebay asking me to log in for something, did that 2 days later someone had listed a 2001 Jeep for sale under my ebay name. Called ebay and got it removed and changed all my Passwords.
