Probably not info anyone with an 'older X5' would want posted on the forums for public consumption!
OP - it could be expensive if they can't give you a locking barrel to match your key, which might mean replacing all locks and new keys.....which would blow your $300 deductible out of the water.
Cheap option is just to get a blanking cover for your door handle and make sure your remote key battery is kept fresh!
