I always LOL at the thread titles of these types of posts because I know the OP is going to be posting about "just an easy battery swap in my key" but doesnt have the expertise or patience to be surgically precise in replacing, in order to not damage any of the extremely fragile electronics on the circuit board etc.

I would have just bought a new master key from the dealer.
