Different on the 4.8L. It's not an alternator bracket. It's an oil cooler thermostat seal. Similar procedure as the pelican article but not exactly the same.
Great point and one I should have mentioned. On the 4.8i, this gasket actually serves a purpose; it sits between the oil cooler thermostat housing and the block. Not the alternator bracket.
