Hey mate,

just having a browse around realoem.com

It looks like if you have the smaller screen TV unit, there is an amplifier seperate to the unit (number 7 on diagram). As this is not shown in the diagram of the larger screen version, one could assume it's inbuilt.

There also appears to be additional amplifiers for the navigation located toward the rear of the car. This diagram also shows you the location of the antennas. Diversity antenna's are normally used for TV signal in aftermarket applications, so I'd assume any additional amplification would need to take place around there:



I have an aftermarket DVB-T tuner with my Dynavin. I've got powered dual diversity antenna's located on opposite sides of the car. The whole thing barely works, I live in CBD Melbourne and I can pick up 1 or 2 channels. I could persist further with it but to be honest, the amount of times I've had a need for it is very little......
