yes just as UCrewX5 says. The “ULF” modules are universal with the following languages coded for voice recognition.
* English: U.S, U.K., and Australian
* French
* German
* Italian
* Spanish
Languages are determined by your cars KEY CODING. That means taking out of a car coded for Spanish "should" work in english in your car. I am not sure about the older modules, but I do know this works with the newer ones. Some recoding of languages may be required, although unlikely.
Now keep in mind there are many "Bluetooth" modules
1) Bluetooth assist CDMA and GSM (800/1900 or 900/1800) the cellular radio portion is a Motorola G series cellular module. They basically swap out
with the rest of the module stays the same relatively.
2) ULF module for I bus vehicles “ULF” many versions
3) MULF module for Most bus vehicles (read BMWs ruined by Bangle) a number of revisions
Typically your choice is ULF module as it is easiest to integrate into your BMW. The Assist module required coding and other junk that is not fun
Hope this helps more than hurts in answering your question.
