When Ford replaced Mercon SP with Mercon LV some time ago there was a lot of discussion regarding LV’s backward compatibility with SP and whether it was causing issues with the performance of the 6-speed.
So is Mercon SP still available in the USA?

Why stop at Ford??
Normally reserved for high end luxury and sports cars, ZF has made the 6HP26 available to Hyundai for use on its 2009 V8 Hyundai Genesis.
