Sure it's a little ghetto but you won't be able to really tell unless you look closely. Either way it'll be better than where you're at now and it won't rust anymore. I did this last fall on my rear passenger door.
It didn't rust-through anything did it? Looks surface to me.

Was thinking about that but not sure how long would it hold up. The picture doesn't do a justice. I looks worse in person lol. How is your door holding up ?
