I used to drive Hwy 1 through Malibu all the time, cars and motorcycles. There aren't very many straights that you can go really fast, unless you are on a bike or a car like that. I didn't notice any damage to the cockpit. It all seemed in the back, and it looked like the front bumper ripped off. Lucky passenger, stupid driver to run away.
