Have you read thru Joe Puma's retrofit? http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all...system-x5.html

There may be some tips there if you haven't. In general it sounds like the i-bus isn't seeing the nav system properly. I'd check that wiring first and foremost.

What version radio module did you install?
