Are you shopping by "looks" or did you look up the 11 digit BMW part nbr based on your VIN ? I highly recommend the latter if you haven't looked up the part nbr using your VIN yet. By using one of the sites below and your VIN...it will eliminate one or the other by sending you to the parts that fall on either side of the build date range for the 2 different types of ignition coils.
Again, I highly recommend using one of the sites below...find the correct 11 digit part nbr for your VIN...then shop using the correct part nbr instead of generically by name or looks. This will prevent headaches, time, & frustration of buying the wrong parts.
