The gas bolt mechanism is really interesting and did a good job in taming the .44mag.

I had a range buddy in the late 80s who had the 44 DEagle, he had small hands and disliked the gun.
I got to fire a few clips thru it and LOVED IT!!! 25 yrs later and I still recall it as the best range session ever.
It's not a small hands and/or limp wrist gun. Lots of vids online with shooters controlling recoil with their foreheads.
