I checked the pump today and could not see any charring on the connector or feed wires. Is the area of burn that visible or should I be looking for something different.
I will go over the connections at the DMTL pump that I replaced to make sure everything is tight. After that I am left with taking it to the dealer.

TRhe advice on the seats worked out very well.
