Get a good independent shop that has the proper tools to scan it and test the tranny. Then find a shop (and there should be enough) that have rebuilt many of these tranny's and go from there. Could be a number of things from as simple as fluid flush, filter and seals to valves and clutches, etc. You won't know unless you find someone with the proper tools.
