Mine's just too easy... italian friend of mine in college used to call me michelito. I never use my real name for nicks, Michel, as all the english speaking folks think I'm a girl if I do... I remember when I first started working: I would have email exchanges with folks in the US, and on the first telephone conversation, upon hearing my voice, it would never miss: "Oh, you're a guy!!! well I thought with a name like Michel ... etc etc"
