On my ’03 BMW X5 4.4i with ~110,000 miles and my ACTRON CP9135 OBD II AutoScanner I can view and reset trouble codes. When this acts up and stalls, no DTC's are set. I wish I could see the live data from the engine controller with this scan tool, but I can not. I am currently tempted to just replace the throttle body but I guessed I am not the first with the issue so I thought I would apply some patience and wait to hear from others that actually experienced a similar issue/failure.
Main items:
After engine stalls with key still in 'on' position, throttle body is making vibrating/humming noise. Is this normal?
Is this throttle body a part the experienced guys see fail often?
