Update on this subject.
Iīve sold the car to a friend of mine who knew the gearbox was damaged with this reverse problem, he said he would take care of it!!!
He changed the gearbox oil on his garage himself withouth following any of the BMW complicated procedures, he just took out the old oil and put new oil in. The oil doesnīt have any particular specification, just comun gearbox oil he bought in a lousy shop. I told him he was crazy and he would damage the gearbox even further! Well, 8 months have passed and the gearbox has never failed on him again
it is working perfectly! How about that!
I asked him what kind of oil did he bought and he just told me that it was the oil available on the shop, they didnīt had any other so he used that one! We are in Africa in a distant region where most of cars are Toyota and zero BMW assistance, so I was amazed at this result, but Iīm really glad for him
