There is another choice! Go to your dealer and look for an brand new ZHP 3er and check out the steering wheel. I test drove one and was surprised with the new wheel they have. It's just like the M3/M5 steering wheel but left and right sides where the thumb hooks are is done in a very nice looking perforated leather. The combo of smooth and perforated leather is very, very nice. Sorry I don't have a picture. No camera with me at the time.
