I have an all stock 2012 e70 with M Sport package. It has the OE 20" wheels with the low profile Bridgestone HP Dueller tires; 275 front and 315 rear. I personally think these are almost overkill. They feel massive while driving, I can almost feel the weight of each wheel over bumps. I would have been perfectly happy with 19's.
Now this depends on what you are used to driving too; my frame of reference was an M3 and a 328i. So the truck overall is a big change for me.

But if you want non-low profile tires, 19s may actually be a better/cheaper option, while still filling up the wheel well. I would do lots of google image searches. It comes down to personal taste, and whether you are looking for good functional wheels/tires or looks only.
