I currently own E53 (2006 X5 3.0i MT with 116K): it is easy to service and not too many issues that I cannot handle.

My question is about E70 if I need to upgrade later...

I am wondering if the E70 is similar in terms:
- Reliability
- Ease of service by a DIYer?
