In my 2006 X5, there are 2 pumps, see diagram below:

Pump #4 is for front windshield and rear tailgate glass.

Pump #11 is for HL. Different topic, but I disable the HL pump to save fluid, I simply removed the Fuse controlling this HL pump and laid it aside inside the fuse box.
