Not my photo, was taken from
mysweetx No idea what that was. Our X5 lived the first 9yrs garaged most of the time in Pasadena, Calif, and the last three garaged in Fountain Hills, AZ, so it is as clean as the day it rolled off of the line.
I didn't need the hose, just the connector. Turns out a 90 degree xeriscape irrigation joint works perfectly. The entire town is xeriscape, so I had loads of them on hand. The main point was "WTH does it connect to?" and the answer was discovered by my son this morning. Then the next thing was "WTH is the part number for that connector?" Still nothing found from BMW, but a $0.07 irrigation part is much higher quality than OEM and it works. So got this out of the way.
Now on to a guibo replacement for my e36 and a passenger seat belt replacement for my e38.
