Got to finally use my new roof rack system.
Bringing 9x 8' 2x4 and 6x 8' long baseboards.

.
A close up of the infinitely adjustable angle bracket. It can be positioned anywhere even outside the main roof rail to grip 4x8' sheet goods.
My original design for framing lumber was to use a conduit clamp on each side and a threaded rod to hold them toward the load. I bought some solid angles and was able to find an even better solution. On one set of boards I simply pounded in a set of shims and the other I put a bolt through to "bite" into the 2x4s
One nice accidental invention: the cross bars though steel have a little flex so the load and the roof rails get less jolting when hitting bumps.
