+1 on another body shop, and their relationship with the adjuster...

But, many/most CI policies exclude oe parts in coverage, esp on a not brand new car.
Varies by states, and companies within states, and one's policy, but to demand new/oe parts if one's policy does not provide for it, is howling at the moon.

Not saying the OP should get cataract like headlight covers, etc, but mfg'er new replacement parts/oe are seldom part of the ins coverage equation.
