Today I helped someone upgrade thie Nav computer to V26 Perspective and It DID NOT CHANGE to LOOSE the USE settings.

He was origially at v12. Seriously. Anyway, I put in v24.1, rebooted, then put in v26.09 rebotted then V26 Perspective mode and THE MKIV STAYED IN US MODE!

I was really suprised, as every one up by software installs were UPGRADES. Since I never went back a level I never lost the settings. I was really impressed, as I had no idea that you could have v26.09 WITH perspective and be in US mode without it being recoded.

Anyway, I thought that I would share.
US coded from V12 to v24.1 to v26.09 to v26 Perspective HACK kept it in US mode.

I am liking this Perspective mode hack a lot better than the buggy v26.09, every time I use the thing
