I cannot confirm whether the Verizon Treo 650 will pair with the -552. If anyone has a ULF -552, we can always test it out with my VZW Treo 650. However, if you have a VZW Treo 650 with 1.04 firmware, it does pair with the ULF -522 module.
Again, the reason I got the -522 ULF was the fact that another person with the VZW Treo 650 with 1.04 firmware confirmed the it did pair with the ULF -522 on bimmerboard.com's bluetooth forum.

But if you don't mind getting the old ULF you can get it from Kevin @ BMW of Macon for a cheaper price. I have both the 522 and 552 and have not seen any difference in quality, performance, or capability for basic BT functions. The 522 module does support SMS(read only) but only few phones support this. |
