Amazing these guys selling cars don't know there business. This is not true. California will not charge you sales tax on a vehicle purchased if you are driving it out of state. They can't

. What you will need is a trip permit and insurance. The trip permit is obtained at the dmv and the dealer should have this waiting for you when you arrive.
