crystalworks is on a distinguished road
Update: Just verified that the taxes will not be charged back home when I go to register it here in TX. Just have to show that they were paid in Cali.

Flights have been booked for Thursday morning of next week (couldn't do any earlier unfortunately). Oh well, saved some money on the tickets since there was a little more lead time...

X5 is fully insured now (just in case something happens to it at the dealership) as a CYA policy. Never know what could happen... read to many horror stories on the internets.

Edit: Just received the purchase agreement. Not bad, have to pay CA taxes which is higher than ours, but they have a very reasonable $80 doc fee. Add to that $50 for smogging $29 + $89 for something titling/registration stuff... and that's it. So all-in I'm looking at ~$15800. Not too shabby...
