Anyhow to answer your question, unfortunately, the SMS function is NOT supported with VZW RAZR. I think the SMS function in the ULF supports a few GSM phones and not our CDMA Verizon phones. Nevertheless, the -522 ULF pairs really fast with the VZW RAZR and your RAZR phone book will transfer very fast. It does work flawlessly.

I would still get the ULF -522 for your M3.
