He said we can install a bolt in place of one of the strut bolt and that will allow to adjust it, I declined but want to know what the consensus on this is. I can post my alignment before and after if needed.

You can adjust the front camber. I have had it done. Here is a link of a picture of mine with the pin out for adjustment on the driver's side. Passenger side was ok:
