The G.A.S instructions make it very clear that the markings should be facing up when installing the cam locks and this is the way I did it the first time. I am almost done rebuilding my heads the first week of September and will be putting it back together at that time. I will let you know how it turned out when it is running.
Be sure to turn the crankshaft back to "TDC" before installing cam locks..
