Just call your agent and get a reco on a glass shop. Call the glass shop and tell them what you want, and ask them whether or not they use the BMW install kit. Make sure they do. Most dealers will outsource their windshield work. You might even call the service dept. at your dealer to see who they outsource to.

p.s. As far as BMW glass goes, get it. Whether or not your Ins. Co. will cover it really depends on which Ins. Co. you have. Too many variables to answer that question.
