I did the 6 liter oil change and filter on my 4.8is but the kick is still there, not too bad but it's not a smooth shifting. I did the firmware flush last year on both using winKFP and SSS. I didn't do an oil change on the 4.4 yet since on the 4.8 oil/filer didn't do much. I should try the sealing sleeves on the 4.8 and make sure that gets rid of the kick and then apply the procedure on the 4.4.
